I loved these! (and the expansion set, too) My husband tried to get me one recently and they are bleeping expensive! Plus the little crayon generally was gone and I wouldn't know what to use as a replacement.

Isn't the special crayon a piece of charcoal?

A classic toy! I recently discovered that there was a monster version as well.

Ooh, that looks like quite a bit of fun, actually! Like a different way of making your own paper dolls.

I had these! Spent hours playing with them. My mom was convinced I wanted to be a fashion designer. She was disappointed that I didn't learn to sew.

I honestly don't know. I think I remember what it felt like--not like a pencil's graphite, but a lot harder than a crayon. Could have been a hard charcoal.
