I think they spent their entire budget on casting, left the script for interns to write, and grudgingly borrowed $500 to cover visual effects.

I always preferred "A Fire in the Sky"--the one where a comet it trying to destroy the revolving restaurant on top of the Phoenix Hyatt Regency. ;)

Well they didn't spend much on the poster artist. When I saw it I thought "Vincent Price wasn't in Meteor, was he?"
