We had these "Magic Touch" trays when I was a kid and they never really worked. The ice froze to the aluminum trays and never released well. You'd often get little bits of crushed ice instead, with most remaining stuck to the trays. And it was really difficult to press the handle down to release the cubes. An idea that didn't really live up to the hype.
