...all of YOU for making this such a great community. Vintage Ads would be nothing without y'all! Even if you're just a watcher, you're an equal part of the community!

I'm thankful for living in Akron, Ohio where I can see the BLIMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've had a drought the past few years as they build the new ones. They fly around but not as often, then they go off to their bases in California and Florida; but Wingfoot 3 will start flying in March and then Akron will have a regular one again and there'll be MORE sightings!! Lest you think I'm the only Goodyear blimp freak--or as I dubbed it, blimpologist--we are legion!!

Can't really put into words how seeing the blimp is for me. Just pure magical joy and wonder.

24-26 Friday - Sunday Weekend Events: Bad gifts and Trains.

Since it's 'black Friday' where people will kill to buy Christmas gifts, let's post ads for bad gifts. Bad gifts you've gotten, that you think would be bad to give, etc.

AND

Trains. Ads for trains, ads that include trains, etc.

If you go shopping tomorrow BE SAFE!!!! No one's life is worth whatever is on sale! Keep in mind there will be people out who'll do anything to get that $5 toaster for their relative they don't really even like! BE CAREFUL!!
