Let me direct your attention to the Featured Hat, the Dobb's Gay Blade. Why can't gay men dress this nicely anymore? It's completely ruined a perfectly good epithet.
The University Ave building is presently a bar. The 4th Ave location is a stock trader.

What a perfectly appropriate toy for a child. The little girl looks absolutely thrilled! (Children look like they're about to cry when they're happy, right?)
I don't know the year or source of this ad, but the doll was apparently made in 1976 by the Shindana company. This image is posted on several websites, but I found it on this one, which has a pretty awesome collection of 70s memorabilia, especially African-American pop culture and collectibles. Check it out!
