Do you think they're trying to get a message across?

I count the word "digestible" occurring fifteen times in this ad.

Use Crisco. It's DIGESTIBLE.

Hmm... Lemon pie: looks nice... Walnut squares: not too bad... Potato boats: AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH. "Fill with creamed meat." NO NO NO NO NO.

I don't even want to know how one creams meat.

Hit it with a car?

Blend it with whipping cream?

Whack it silly with a baseball bat?

Well, considering the era the ad is from, I'm sure it had something to do with nuclear power or something atomic...

Umm, you'd want to do that in private, with the door locked, and a towel or sock nearby.

Lol! If I were a boy, that would probably be the best way to cream some meat.

However, since I'm a lady-type, I think I'll stick to the nuclear power^.^

I think that would have another name, like you might 'Crisco your pastry,' and if you and the meat-creamer got together he might 'Agreeably digest your lemon pie.'
