Weekend event: Helping hand of Hamburger Helperâ„¢

How many people remember the "helping hand" from the Hamburger Helper ad?

Weeknd Event - Madge = Tilly but Palmolive never changes

This is the German version of Madge, named Tilly.  Even in Germany, "you're soaking in it".

Weeknd Event - M&M's Melt in your Mouth...

...not in your hands!

(brace yourselves for 240p video)
M&M's (1957) "Which Hand?"

Weekend EventS Starting Tomorrow!

Friday - Sunday, January 29 - 31, Weekend Events: Hands and/or Feet AND As seen on TV

Ads for hands and/or feet featured in ads for hand/feet products, ie: rings, shoes, etc or hands/feet featured in ads for other products, so basically any ad that has a hand or foot---but they should be featured in some way....

'As seen on tv' you know those products, proclaiming 'as seen on tv' and/or we could even say products you've seen advertised so much, without the 'as seen on tv' moniker...ads that just seemed to always be on...

as always, wide interpretations are welcome! :)

Yellow weekend: Let your fingers do the walking

1970 Yellow Pages ad: "Let your fingers do the walking!"

I couldn't post that ad without this one, however:

Let your fingers do it. )

[The hands are those of Chevy Chase from the 1974 movie The Groove Tube.]

Lastly, my real reason for posting all of this is so I could post this clip from Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman in which Mary and her sister Cathy discuss waxy yellow buildup )

[We have no "hands," "fingers," "Yellow Pages," "waxy yellow buildup," or even "wax" tags? What is this world coming to?]
