Freedom of choice? Oh my god, go suck a tailpipe, 4A's... of course advertising convinces you buy things you don't need. Who needs Slim Jims or Mountain Dew or Bud Light or a Snuggie or .. the list goes on and on.
The 80s was such a shit time for print advertising - outside of fashion and entertainment, I swear 80% of all print ads looked exactly like that one. Futura Condensed Bold headline. A third to a half of a page of boring ass sales copy in some nondescript serif font. Logo in lower right corner.
