I liked this chick so much that she's one of my icons now!

The thing on her head . . . an interrogation device? An early EEG machine? Nope. She's just getting her hair curled. I remember the first time I saw a permanent wave machine in a museum when I was a kid and to this day the idea of those things terrifies me. If nothing else, this looks horribly uncomfortable.
