*reads up* Wow. ...and then I read he was the Emperor on Faerie Tale Theater. With one of the best lines of the series:

That's what happened to Redd Foxx (http://www.tvparty.com/mysfoxx3.html): he had done this "I'm coming, Elizabeth!" schtick for so long, that when he actually had a heart attack in rehearsals, the people on set thought at first he was joking.

Moral of the story: be careful what you joke about.

Loved Dick Shawn! He was so talented and taken from us too soon. Totally cheesy, but one of my favorite characters was Bing Bell in Evil Roy Slade.
