If you don't know Richard Scarry and his amazing illustrations, ACQUAINT   THYSELF   FORTHWITH. *that last one is Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm :D 

The Beech-Nut company produced a line of young children's cereals with illustrations on them that many seem to think are his.  I know THESE 2001 products by New Organics used his characters, but for the images below, I'll just go with "They're Cute."

I loved the big word book! I remember looking at it before I knew how to read. Some of it was confusing to l'il baby me.
