UM BONGO UM BONGO, THEY DRINK IT IN THE CONGO...



This is my all-time-favourite-advert-ever-ever-ever! I also like the fact that the President of Gabon is called "Omar Bongo" which I feel ties into this quite nicely.

It is indeed! It was broadcast throughout the 1980s. I did used to know all the words when I was a nipper (which is now a long long time ago now).

My claim to fame at school was that I could say the words to this very fast, sad but true ^^
