Dafuq is going on in this ad?! He's walking a turkey to make him taste the best? For what? Tomato soup?? Or he's walking him to the dining hall to have a bowl of tomato soup? What's going on???

Maybe they're saying tomato soup is the ideal accompaniment for your Thanksgiving dinner?

Personally, I've never eaten soup at a Thanksgiving dinner- there's too many other good foods to eat- the turkey itself (which tastes awesome without eating tomato soup with is!) the stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and of course pumpkin pie! Soup fills you up too soon- NOT a good thing to eat at Thanksgiving.

I do however, believe tomato soup to be THE BEST soup to accompany a grilled cheese sandwich!

I've never eaten soup at Thanksgiving either. That's just sort of weird and doesn't seem to 'fit' with all the delicious nom nom nom you listed. Pumpkin pie with 2" of cool whip is like a law or something.

ITA tomato soup and grilled cheese is THE BEST!!! Especially on a beautiful fall day!

The Campbell's kid pilgrim is going to fatten up the turkey with tomato soup? The kid looks sort of pop eyed crazy. Maybe he's going to cut the turkey's head off and serve him with soup instead of gravy?
