WAAAAH I MISS LIVING IN YOUR STATE SO MUCH

If I were anywhere near you I'd happily take those lemons off your hands. I've got the awesomest homemade limoncello recipe and I've been hankering for it lately.

we actually bought this house for two reasons...the absolutely wonderful jaccuzi tub in the master bath (great for water therapy for muscle spasms, which i have a *lot*), and that lemon tree.

it's planted in the far back of the house, sheltered on 3 sides by fences and the house, and just flourishes. even when the weather is cold, it's in great shape because it grows right beside the outside unit for the heating/air.

and TheEngineer swears its why he'll never get scurvy. *massive eyeroll*

it has it's downfalls. white tile floring throughout the ENTIRE house, for example. and the foyer is raised higher than the rest of the floor in the house.

and godsbedamned pot lights!!! in the soaring 10-13 foot ceilings!! i flipping HATE those things!! (on the upside, i DID get the ex conned into instaling ceiling fans in the kithen and master bedroom before he moved away from this area. even though he had SWORN about a dozen years ago that he would NEVER install another ceiling fan again, EVER. *smirks* i still got it... hee!) oh, and i'm putting the LED lights in the pot lights as they blow out, because those things last for 25 years. that way, i may never have to replace another one of them in each fixture!

oh, and the closets in the entire house are inadequate. i had more closet space in the 1,100 sq foot apartment than i do in this 1,750 sq ft house!

I love my closets, they were a big selling point when I bought this place, so I'll settle for being jealous of the jaccuzi. They are great for back spasms!
