Yeah, people are all "But your mom has a suppressed immune system, what if you killed her off?" Um...first of all, I won't be around her if I'm sick (I realize it's hard to know when you're contagious). Secondly, I see her so infrequently during traditional "sick" seasons that... is it worth it? Third of all, there would be no way to prove that it was me. She's exposed to more people than just me and my dad. I've known more people that get sick from vaccinations than not. Now, do I get the usual booster shots for the weird diseases? Yes. But the stuff that's around every year, and mutates every year (and even by the time the vaccines are out)? No.

I hear you on the year-round allergies. Ugh! And just when I find one OTC med that helps me sleep all night, I'll develop a tolerance to it. Fan.tas.tic. Ooo...I might have to look for that Vick's plug in. I need to run a couple of errands this afternoon, so I'll put that on my list. =)

Unite!

here's a link for a visual... called a waterless vaporizer.....i love mine....around $10 and the refills are like 3 for around $4.....one little pad will last about 3 days if you have it on around 8 hours a day......if you use it less, it'll last longer, obviously....

yeah, i avoid people with suppressed immune systems when i am sick....but they go to stores and end up getting sick....at least i have a clear conscience! it's usually 3 days for most flu bugs to incubate.....

knock wood, i've yet to build up a tolerance to an allergy med....what usually happens is it'll get pulled from the market!
