I'll never forget the first time I saw this. It was a Saturday afternoon in my freshman year at college. I came back to my room and said "what's up?" to my roomie.
He said, "siddown. Warriors is on."
"What's that?" I asked. I learned fast.
It's that guy from the old Bloodhound Gang bits on 3-2-1 Contact! It's the voiceover woman from Carmen Sandiego! It's... baseball bats.
If you have an obsession with subways (as I do), this movie rules.
The only thing I find incongruous is the last song of the movie, which is unsuited to anyone in the film. None of them would have a song as sappy as "In The City" in their collections.
