Good god:

ZOMBIES! IT'S THE INVASION OF THE BEACH ZOMBIES!

Liberty magazine, August 1936.  This guy definitely needs something besides Kreml.  I'm not sure what, but he needs it very badly indeed.

"Vacation Hair" is the least of his worries.

[identity profile] queen-fiend.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 05:32 am (UTC)(link)

Something to remove that death mask, perhaps?

[identity profile] zitronenhai.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
I am probably like the hundredth person to say this, but that guy has WAY worse problems than his "vacation hair."

[identity profile] zitronenhai.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
It looks kind of like a hybrid between Michael Meyer's mask and... well, Little Richard.

Braaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins. He needs brains.

"Forget those sticky, dust-catching, gigolo concoctions..."

Hmmm.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

[identity profile] neuralclone.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
A stake through the heart maybe - that's the customary way of laying the Undead to reast. %-P

[identity profile] thejackaolf.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
reminds me of the "death makeup" back in the day where you would hire someone to take a "Family" photo of your dearly departed before cameras and photos where a common thing.

[identity profile] catharsisss.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I was thinking that too. This photo is somehow MORE creepier than those death photos. I wonder if Kreml can cover up the smell of decomposing flesh...

that is some scary looking ad...obviously designed to shock one out of one's complacency...

and I'm here to tell ya, it worked!!

I shall now scour the drug stores looking for this product so I never, ever have to look like a carvival puppet!

His lopsided, mismatched eyes, lack of neck, scrunched shoulders and OMG PLASTIC FACE are probably a bigger concern than his hair.

[identity profile] thejackaolf.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
it is..I think its the wonky face..like a bad repare on a crushed skull, and the gangly arms

[identity profile] littlelamb.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
haha i looked up the hair tonic, and it's just as suspect as the man in the ad.

[identity profile] cionaudha.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it's either spooge or bacon grease...

[identity profile] twolionss.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
...maybe the hair tonic was actually made FROM the man in the ad. Looks like bone marrow.

[identity profile] veronica-jay.livejournal.com 2010-08-02 11:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I caught that one too...

That immediately reminded me of this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Tanzler#Morbid_obsession). An unfortunate association, really.
