"Italian Stallion" 1978 ad

The trailer for The Italian Stallion, a 1978 re-release of Party at Kitty and Stud's, a softcore porn film that's famous for being Sylvester Stallone's first starring role. As the new title indicates, this was a quick cash in on Stallone's huge success with Rocky, and the ad even rips off the Rocky theme. The ad is introduced by female porn director Gail Palmer, and interestingly, it suggests that the movie was being marketed towards women.

The preview itself is surprisingly G-rated, though it's under a cut for safety's sake.

I remember reading about this. I believe The Italian Stallion is so heavily edited, there isn't even any Stallone nudity or sex scenes left. Party at Kitty and Stud's is almost impossible to find. Once Stallone hit it big, his people did their best to destroy all copies and they played a huge part in making sure the sex scenes with him were gone.

That being said, man. Sly was pretty hot back in the day.

Okay, here is what I found (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_at_Kitty_and_Stud%27s). I guess the original movie was not all that hardcore to begin with.

I don't see anything about him being compensated other than the fact that he got $200 for doing the role in the first place. Keep in mind I'm going on three hours of sleep and only two cups of coffee though lol :x

I guess he or his management were worried that it would cause him not to get good roles in Hollywood or ruin his blooming career. Kind of funny when you compare it to nowadays, when most stars GET famous because of a sex tape!

I hope this wasn't the pinnacle of her directing resume'. "Okay, now run through the snowy playground and fall down a lot!" And what the hell is that black stuff on the left every time they cut back to the girl when Stallone's in the car? In his shots, the car does not appear to be lined in matted fake fur.

I never realized how much Stallone could look like Elvis.
