All us cut-rate dentists look the same, so don't walk into that filthy hovel with the blood stains and screams at 295 University St., walk into ours!

it is interesting to me how words like that change meaning subtly over time. I am sure at the time it meant much the same as "affordable" does now. Now though it means the same but with a heaping helping of crappy added to it.

It makes me think of the dentist's office in the original, British version of "The Man Who Knew Too Much". I LOVE that movie!
