"Luxury"...mmm, yeah. I can hear Eartha Kitt:

"Santa, baby,
Leave some Modess under the tree,
For me...
C'est posh, c'est chic, and no leak...
All week,
Make Aunt Flow's stay a classy delight."

Even if the ad is for feminine hygiene, this ad is so lovely!

She's not wearing white, nor is she on the beach or participating in some sort of sport. How are we supposed to know this is for a feminine product?

True story: My mum's wedding dress was copied from one of these Modess ads. There was a long series of them featuring different gowns. She just took her favourite to the dressmaker and said 'Like this, please.'
It wasn't this one, though - my mother normally has quite good dress sense but I've always thought she chose a remarkably shapeless and unflattering wedding dress, considering that she wasn't pregnant at the time.
