80's Weekend: Several My Little Pony commercials!
Of course, My Little Pony is still with us! Just in a different form. But I still think these first ones were the best. So many poses! Boy ponies! Sea Ponies!
I always kind of get sticker shock when I buy a pony nowadays. Back in the day, five bucks bought a pony big as my hand. Now they're teensy-tiny, and they're still five bucks.
This one just doesn't seem right without "Shoo-be-doo, Shoo-shoo-be-doo!"
The early baby ponies had cutie marks, but I will give the newer cartoon that the idea that you have to find your special talent to get your cutie mark works really well.
I had SEVERAL of these ones!

I LOVE the new show, it's really cute and smart (some aspects of the fandom-at-large are unfun), and the toys are cute and fun to customize.

(yes, I write MLP/HPL crossovers - people even do TVTropes pages about them, so clearly I'm doing something right.... or terribly, terribly wrong...)

(Don't even get me started on the sexing up of Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite... grrrrrr...)

I hate to admit it, but I do like the current MLP:FiM show better after watching the older specials on YouTube. (I thought your username looked familiar! You post at equestriamlp, too, right?)
