Its funny because at first I thought this was an ad for a blowup doll.
Because she looks like a blow up doll.

And me! XD I think it's the eyes, they seem to have that 'evil doll' thing going on where they're looking in two directions at once... o__O

Maybe she can get a cricket to help her rescue her father and become a real girl.

Weirdly, I think she's snuggly-cute.
And I never realized I was born in the city that spawned.... The Poster People. Eeek!

Almost as scary as having a disturbing picture of a clown.

I first read a different meaning of "blown-up". Exploding women are not exactly a good idea.
Then I wondered at the ego issues of someone who'd want a poster of themselves that size.

18"x24" isn't my idea of GIANT sized. Nor even larger than life, though that girl looks to be really tiny.
Blow Up Betty Cooper.

They used to do something like this at carnivals and fairs in the late 80's. For most of my childhood, one of me and one of my cousin hung in my grandparents' TV room. 'Twas embarrassing.

And if I remember correctly, my face (in black and white) was superimposed on a giant root beer mug.

Yikes! It's as if some creepy doll got possessed by an ancient Egyptian god. That's the best picture they could find for the ad?
Between that pic and the company name makes the ad look like a poster for some bad Hammer film.
