I don't know if "Yipeee!" is the exclamation I'd use if I saw this salad. Also, what exactly is "western" about it?

It's "western" because of the ham/Spam and green pepper, like a western omelet, is my best guess. Not that it helps.

That was what I thought too, the green peppers makes it "Western". So exotic.
