I love this ad, and in it the kitchen seems really pretty & cheerful--but I don't think I'd actually want this kitchen.

That kitchen design is such a refreshing change from the googie-inspired "George Jetson" look so common in the '50s. (Does the ad say "September 1948?" Can't tell.)

I like her apron, too - I'd be all over that if I found it in a thrift / vintage clothing shop.
