I think there are individual slots for the eggs. I would LOVE to find one of these and refurbish it, but I bet the parts are really hard to come by. Here's a blog talking about finding a rare juice container:
yes, but from how it looks set up, they might not be in the 'freezer section'....still can't imagine how being in a warm dark place would be good....wait...maybe it's a 'banana ripening' area!
I should have watched the commercial on Youtube before posting that, I guess. Turns out that thing is "an unrefrigerated banana bin." I guess bananas were a pretty big thing at the time.
The fridge makes me feel kind of inadequate, since mine hasn't got a special area just for breakfast foods and racks for cans/juice, and none of the sections are labeled. Heck, I'd probably have some kind of juice stuck in the designated milk area or something.
